”I’m not angry with Nigel Clough or anyone else with the club,” Martin Albrechtsen says. “Derby thought I was too expensive to keep and so they let me go. That’s it. Maybe I should’ve stayed with West Bromwich instead of signing with the Rams but I can’t do it over so I don’t think about it and I hold no grudge.”

When I called Morten Bisgaard today he hadn’t heard the news. Billy Davies had stepped down in what is labelled as a departure in mutual consent. Morten was actually quite stunned when he heard the news – but then looked to the future and re-claimed his belief in the survival of the Rams as a Premier League team.
