Well, most of the members in the supporters club live in Germany, one in Denmark and two in England.
We started this club some years ago when I got in touch through the internet with fellow Derby County Fans, we got together and a good booze up and decided to keep in contact.
Then I got the Idea to set up a web site so that anybody that is interested in Derby County could get some information about the Great Derby County.
I have also been included in the official Derby County Supporters Club so that people like yourself Niels, could get in touch (as you did).
We don' get together often as we are situated all over Germany,
Aachen, (Phil Gilman), Unna, (Bill Walters), Kamen, (Dave, Angelika, Helmut), Hannover, (Michael Cockerham), Hamburg (Anthony), Hoffnungsthal, (Erik, my Grandson), Elfershausen, (Thomas, North Bavaria), but when we do get together we have a goooooood time.
We met some friends at Xmas in Cologne (they came over for the Xmas Market), also Derby Fans, and they joined the Supporters club Germany as did Ron Stevenson of the International Supporters Club of Derby. He organises tickets for us when we go to Derby.
I have been a Derby Supporter since 1964. I am now Retired (Early Retirement) - I will be 61 this year, but I still feel young.
My wife and myself try to get back to Derby at least once a year to see a match, we were there when we played against Birmingham (we lost).
I would also like to take the German Supporters to a match but as most of them are working it's not so easy to get them altogether at any given time.
